Register an app

Third-party marketplace apps are reviewed by OfficeHero before they can ask companies for access.

Building only for your own company? You do not need to register anything — create an API key.

How to submit

E-mail support@officehero.io with the subject “Marketplace app submission” and:

• Slug — lowercase letters, digits and dashes (e.g. my-app).
• Name (up to 80 characters), publisher and a contact e-mail.
• Description — up to 2,000 characters.
• Icon URL — square PNG or SVG, at most 2 MB, served over https.
• OAuth callback URL — https:// only; it must match exactly at token exchange.
• Scopes you will request, and why.

You will hear back at the contact address. On approval you receive a client_id and a client_secret, shown once. See OAuth apps for the current status of the flow.
